Hyo Culture Ppuri Festival (대전 효문화뿌리축제)

Held at the nation’s only filial duty-themed park, the Ppuri Park, the Daejeon K-Hyo Festa is a traditional cultural event dedicated to finding the roots of the ancestry of unique family clans and learning traditional filial piety. The festival features various experiences related to surnames and filial duty, along with popular flea markets and food zones. In 2022, it received a Special Award at the Korea Festival Contents Awards.

Introduction
Hyo Culture Ppuri Festival is dedicated to finding the roots of the ancestry of unique family clans and learning traditional filial piety. The festival's venue Ppuri Park was opened in 1997 as a family-friendly park to raise awareness of recognizing the importance of ancestral roots. The park has a statue dedicated to 136 unique family clans, tracing their origins. Korea Genealogy Museum is also at this park, preserving genealogy archives.
